Bio: Tejas Gokhale is a final-year Ph.D. candidate at Arizona State University, co-advised by Yezhou Yang and Chitta Baral. Before ASU, he received his M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 2017. His work focuses on semantic vision, with special emphasis on developing robust and reliable systems by leveraging the complex interactions between vision and language. His work has been published at several premier venues across AI, vision, and NLP. Tejas is a recipient of the ASU Engineering Graduate Fellowship, SCAI Doctoral Fellowship, ASU GPSA Outstanding Mentor award, and top reviewer awards at NeurIPS and ICLR.
